Selivy-Dor Investments is a family owned business, and our family's entrepreneur heritage started long ago with our grandfather James Hezekiah Dorsey; who migrated from Andros Island, B.W.I. in the Bahamas to the United States. Arriving in south Florida on a ship called the S.S. Nassauvian in 1916.

He was a merchant and a landlord who owned a grocery store and multiple apartment homes in the city of Miami, FL. Growing up in a family such as this has been an inspiration to us all; and we will continue our grandfathers legacy.
